In Elmwood Park, Illinois, local police arrested a man who allegedly help up a cell phone store. The man, 35-year-old E.W., was charged with armed robbery following his arrest. News sources say that he committed the theft crime on April 16th when he robbed a T-Mobile store. Witnesses told police that E.W. entered the store, pulled out a firearm, and demanded that a staff member give him money. He then left the store with $3,800 in hand.
Officers say that this may not be E.W.'s first robbery as a similar scenario unfolded in Cicero at a Boost Mobile. The suspect that the clerk described matched E.W.'s description and store employees later picked him out of a line up. After he was identified, E.W. confessed to both robberies. Since the time of his confession, his bail has been set at $1 million. Are you facing theft crime charges?
